How do I publish a static page to GoDaddy's new web service?

I have a.txt file that I want to distribute. I had it all set up for a WordPress site, but in order to migrate, I need to strip out WordPress and put my site on the same server.
I've got my GoDaddy account set up for this. There is only one DNS record for my site, so my page is directly linked to it.
I've looked up various methods for publishing the file to the server, but all I've found are instructions for the new site builder, which doesn't work for me.
Is there a better way to do this that I'm missing?

GoDaddy's new web service does not work well with traditional FTP software. It requires the use of a web service, which can be used to automate the publishing process.

Preventing 'page-load' just after navigating back

I know that I have asked this here once before, and I know that I could just simply use the [load-event] attribute on the nav button and check if the location-hash is empty, or I could use the X-Requested-With and other headers.
But, since I am using Sitecore and am developing a Sitecore Multilingual Site, the system automatically takes care of this for me. Now, I don't want the page-load to start again, but I want to skip it for the next time. This would be easy if I could simply check the ID of the navigation button or something else, however this is not the case. I have already tried multiple things:

Leaving the HTML blank, the problem doesn't occur.
Putting the same [load-event] attribute on multiple buttons, the problem is occuring.

My only solution would be to remove the [load-event] attribute for the button, however that would obviously not be a good approach to let the page-load work the way it is supposed to work, and wouldn't make any sense.
Does anyone have any idea how to solve this problem?
