# Tools of the trade

Photoshop is the standard tool for image manipulation in the industry. But you may be surprised by how many tools are out there and how many tools are used to manipulate images. Some of the tools you may use in Photoshop are shown in Figure 6-1.

So, for all the Photoshop Elements users who want to edit a photo or create new images for common uses, this post will give you a general overview of features and the best Photoshop Elements photo editing tips. It will also help you create unique Discord emojis or HD memes and save your time.

Replace Color

Photoshop Elements has built-in features that can help you remove unwanted objects from an image, correct colors, and correct exposure.

Remove Everything

Removing unwanted objects is so easy with the Photoshop Elements Adjustment Panel. Choose the Spot Healing Brush tool, then click on the Spot Healing tool to open it. Then, drag over the unwanted objects you want to remove and press Alt/Option + D.

This method is faster than the one above, but it only works on rectangular objects. Try it by selecting the Hand tool, then clicking and dragging over the object you want to remove.

Manual Fix

It is also possible to remove objects manually, such as a whole object or part of an object. Open the View Menu by pressing Cmd/Ctrl + 1 then select the Deselect tool. Select the object you want to remove and click the Deselect tool on it, then click the Deselect tool again to remove it. To manually remove a part of an object, click the Select tool on a part of the object you want to remove and select the Deselect tool. Click on the object you want to remove.

Brighten or Darken

To brighten an object, click on the Brightness/Contrast adjustment layer, then drag the white slider to the right. To darken an object, drag the slider to the left. To create an HDR image from two exposures, use the HDR Merge command in the Photomerge feature.

Adjust the shadows, midtones and highlights of an image by moving the white and black sliders, which open the Adjustment Panel. Click on the white or black slider to open the Adjustment Panel.

Blur

This is an alternative to using the Gaussian Blur tool. It blurs the edges of your object by creating a blurry transition from one color to another. The Blur tool works especially well for rounded objects such as people’s faces or palm trees.

I'm trying to create a class with a static member function that will generate a unique id that will function as the object's unique identifier. Here is what I've got so far:

The present invention relates to a process for the separation of acetic acid from acetaldehyde in a zeolite catalyst by reaction at a low temperature in a fixed bed, wherein a mixture of acetic acid and acetaldehyde is continuously fed into the reaction zone, the product is continuously withdrawn from the reaction zone while cooling the effluent from the reaction zone, a gas stream containing hydrogen and steam is passed through the catalyst at a temperature of from about 200.degree. to about 400.degree. C., and acetic acid and acetaldehyde are separated from the effluent under a temperature of about 100.degree. to about 200.degree. C.
It is known to react acetic acid and acetaldehyde in the presence of a zeolite catalyst under a hydrogen atmosphere, in order to separate acetic acid and acetaldehyde from each other. In the reaction, a mixture of acetic acid and acetaldehyde is fed into the reactor, and the reaction products are continuously withdrawn from the reactor. The reaction in the reactor is carried out under a pressure of from 1 to 10 atmospheres and with a reaction temperature of from 100.degree. to 400.degree. C. For example, U.S. Pat. No. 3,865,877 teaches the separation of acetic acid from acetaldehyde in a hydrogen atmosphere, and German Patent No. 952,501 teaches a process for the production of acetic acid wherein a mixture of acetic acid and acetaldehyde is reacted in a fixed bed in the presence of a zeolite catalyst.
Acetaldehyde is generally present in the reaction mixture as a by-product in the preparation of acetic acid. On the other hand, acetic acid generally is present in the reaction mixture in the form of about 90 percent as the free acetic acid, the remainder being combined with water to form an aqueous solution of acetic acid.
In the processes for producing acetic acid from a gaseous mixture comprising acetic acid and acetaldehyde, in which a catalytic reaction is carried out in the presence of a zeolite catalyst, the process is conducted under a reaction pressure of from 1 to 10 atmospheres and a reaction temperature of from 200.degree. to 400.degree. C. with an hourly space velocity of from 0.01 to 100 hr.sup.-1. However, the acetic acid is recovered as a liquid phase.
