You can choose any brush from any of the Paintbrush presets in the right-click menu and the Brush Preset Picker, which is visible in the bottom-right corner of the Brushes panel (see Figure 11-4). The right-click menu is also available when you're painting with the Brush tool.

Is Adobe Photoshop free?

Photoshop Elements is free to use with the Creative Cloud subscription service. It runs on macOS 10.9 or above and Windows 10. Some features, such as the ability to create animations or morph images, are available in the Elements Personal Edition.

The trial version of Elements, which can be installed on Windows or macOS, will load the element that you select to edit. If you are planning to purchase Photoshop Elements from a retail store, it will run for a limited time.

The price for the Elements package ranges from $19 to $69. You can also purchase individual Elements packages. A Pro version of Photoshop Elements costs $399, and the Elements Personal package is $269. Both of these versions have additional features not available in the free package. The Elements 20 package is $109 and includes some extra features.

How to install Photoshop Elements on your Mac or Windows computer

To get started, download the latest version of Photoshop Elements on your Mac or Windows computer.

Close any other applications and desktop windows you may be using, and launch the installation program. Click through the remaining steps to install the software. Click Install to continue the installation process, or you can start the software manually by opening it from Applications > Utilities > Adobe Photoshop Elements.

Upgrading from Photoshop Elements 11 to Photoshop Elements 20

If you have a previous version of Photoshop Elements 11 installed on your system, you can upgrade it to Adobe Photoshop Elements 20 by following the steps below. If you only have Adobe Photoshop Elements 13 or 14 installed, you can upgrade to Adobe Photoshop Elements 20 without any problems. However, you should keep in mind that your installed elements, preferences and libraries will be overwritten.

Launch the Adobe Photoshop Elements 20 installation program, which you can find on your computer in the Adobe Photoshop Elements installation program folder. Click on the “Upgrade from the previous Elements version” button to upgrade to the latest version of Photoshop Elements.

In the process of upgrading from Photoshop Elements 11 to Photoshop Elements 20, you will also be informed about all the available elements upgrades and downgrades. This upgrade process can be a bit risky, so you should be careful and do it step by step.

Updated: As F1 races towards its annual calendar shake-up in 2021, a series of potential new F1 races are in the pipeline, and a new Grand Prix is currently set to debut in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.

Speaking at a press conference last week, with his eye on the race calendar shake-up that will come into effect in 2021, F1 Commission chairman Chase Carey confirmed that the series is considering adding an extra race in the middle of the season.

F1 is set to see four Grands Prix drop from its current 2020 calendar, with Russia, Austria and Great Britain set to be dropped in favour of a new race in Vietnam, while the Bahrain GP becomes the first Gulf State entry.

Now, as Carey reveals that a race in Canada is also in the planning, he has revealed that a number of cities in North America are also in line for a potential F1 race, with a potential two-venue race in Atlanta and Charlotte set to be considered.

“I think we’re looking at the mid-season race, probably in North America,” Carey told the F1 media conference last week.

“But not necessarily Charlotte, but certainly the Southeast, Atlanta, or maybe Charlotte.”

Several F1 venues in the Southeast are on the radar, including Atlanta’s new baseball stadium.

“I love that idea,” Carey stated. “It’s a great place, a big ballpark. There would be a lot of interest in that.”

However, he emphasised that the plans to add a race in the middle of the season would require agreement from the commercial rights holder, who is yet to indicate its support to the plans.

“We haven’t announced anything yet, but we are exploring it,” Carey said. “We are looking at it, and you know what, it depends on where we are in the schedule… I can’t tell you that because of the commercial rights holder.”

Carey and F1 are set to meet with NASCAR this month to discuss their future.

Carey revealed that the two parties haven’t met this year to discuss F1 and NASCAR’s future together, with Carey saying there are “further conversations and planning to do so in 2020”.
