￭ Disable the Delete Old Extents operation
￭ Disable the Expand Equal Length File Locks operation
￭ Disable the Expand Non-Uniform File Length Locks operation
￭ Disable the Expand Zero Allocation File Locks operation
￭ Disable the Expand Large Allocation File Locks operation
Please note that when you enable the above options it may takes up to 15-20 seconds to perform the NTFS optimization.
How to Install:
Download, Extract, Run Setup.
NTFS TuneUp Requirements:
￭ NTFS TuneUp - 1.0.1.0 (Windows XP Service Pack 2)
￭ VB Runtime - 1.0.1.0 (Windows XP Service Pack 2)
￭ The necessary files to perform NTFS optimization.
￭ Windows Explorer
NTFS TuneUp Setup:
￭ Unzip the folders in the NTFS TuneUp folder.
Run NTFS TuneUp.
NTFS TuneUp Instructions:
Run the program.
Let the program run for 2-3 minutes to perform NTFS optimization.
You should see a progress bar during the optimization process.
(If you don't you can run NTFS TuneUp manually and run the NTFS TuneUp Optimization Wizard from the shortcut in the program.)
When the NTFS TuneUp starts (less than 3 minutes) you can see the different options.
When you enable an option it will change. (Note: Options can not be changed at any time.)
For every option that can be enabled/disabled there is a "Thank You" message.
When you click OK you are done.
Restore the default settings and exit the program.
