A primer on layer manipulation

Before you start any editing tasks, it's wise to become familiar with Photoshop's layer system. A layer is the basic building block of a photo. Each layer contains the pixels that make up a picture, and each layer has a transparency setting that permits you to see the pixels that are below it. Through the use of layers, you can create something as complex as you want — think of it as an entire building where every building block is a layer.

Each layer is referred to by an identifying number, usually from 1 to 99. The numbers correspond with the layers in the order that they're created. For example, if you click the Layers palette and see layer 1 in it, then the top layer is 1. When you create a new layer, you set its number to match the number of the layer below it. The number 99 is special — it's used to designate the Background layer and as such, the layer beneath the Background is 100. You can find out how to create a new layer in the following task.

As a layer is created, it appears in the layers palette and is given a name from 1 to 99. Changing the name of the layer simply renumbers it automatically. You may see layer 8 as a layer 8, but you can give it any name you want; in fact, you can give it as many different names as you like. The order in which you add layers is important and may affect how you see the picture. Generally, you begin with the Background layer and work up through the layers, but you're not limited to this practice. For example, you could start with layers 1 and 2 and work through layers 2 and 3.

You can also create new layers by clicking the New Layer icon, found below the Layers palette and in the Layers panel at the bottom of the workspace. New layers can be added to the layer above by simply clicking on a layer name in the Layers palette or via the New Layer button in the Layers panel.

How to install Photoshop Elements

Using the download link below, extract the downloaded zip file, and unzip the file in a folder. Go to the folder, and run the installer. When prompted, choose the option to update Photoshop. It will restart the application and finish the installation. After the installation, Photoshop Elements will appear in the software list. Now that you have installed Photoshop Elements, you can open it by clicking on the Photoshop icon. You can view your Photoshop Elements workspace in the workspace window.

The first time you start Photoshop Elements, it automatically creates a new user account and it asks you to save your settings. Once you save the new settings, the next time you open the program, the new settings will be imported. You can view the list of all the settings in the Settings menu.

We recommend that you make your home folder “My Documents”. Create the folder “My Documents/Photoshop Elements” and save the Photoshop Elements program folder in the folder. To edit photos, you can use the program’s default program. If you are an advanced user, you can save the program files to a folder of your choice by using the Save As command.

You can use file open/save programs in the Mac. You can open a file by right-clicking the file and then choosing to open or save. You can save a file by right-clicking the file and then choosing to save as. You can also use drag and drop to open or save a file. For more information, see the Photoshop Elements Help System.

How to use Photoshop Elements

There are two ways to edit an image in Photoshop Elements. In the Edit Image dialog box, you can view all the tools, selections, and features of the program to edit an image. The best way to edit an image in Photoshop Elements is to use the Edit Image dialog box. You can use the dialog box as a photo editor, save images and save them in different formats.

I'm working on my first Laravel project. It looks like the users.v1.register() route is redirecting me to because $this->middleware() function is not working. I'm getting the error below.
