Photoshop is very powerful but also quite complex. You need to learn how to use Photoshop, and once you do, you can find the features that you need right from the program.

To add a new brush, for example, select New, and click Brush.

To add new effects to an image, choose Image > Adjustments > Add.

To remove items from a photo, go to the Toolbar and click Edit > Eraser.

To resize an object, drag one of the four handles to resize it.

This invention relates to a process of chemically treating radioactive sludge and other residues in an industrial waste water stream.
2. Background Art
In the refining of metal, pulp, paper and other processes, as a by-product, the metal, pulp, paper or other material being processed is dissolved in a caustic, acid or other suitable solvent. Often, the solids in the spent, spent or final product will be removed by dilution with water. Typically, for toxic metals, such as iron, nickel, silver and copper, the concentration of the metal may be as high as 10,000 ppm.
Thus, in a typical process, there will be a stream of spent or spent solution called process sludge resulting from the above chemical processing which, for convenience, is called the sludge.
The sludge may vary from a relatively solid, heavy substance with a low content of water to a fluid, colloidal suspension of relatively small particles in water. More typically, the sludge will be a semi-solids containing about one-half or more water. To the extent that the sludge is solid, it is in a form that will not readily dissolve. The sludge will generally contain other materials, such as metallic particles, alumina, carbon, plastics, oils, greases and so forth.
Generally, the concentration of any particular element in the sludge is usually about 10 to 50 ppm or more, or 1% by weight or more.
Although this invention is primarily directed to the treatment of metal and metallic/metallic non-ferrous sludges resulting from such chemical processing, it is believed that the various aspects of this invention would be applicable to treating chemical process sludges in the absence of any metal content.
A typical, heavy, metallic process sludge, for example, will contain metals in concentrations of about 100 ppm or more, or 2% by weight or more.
Another sludge characteristic is that the sludge will also contain one or more complex oxides or other organic materials, such as various carbon and plastics materials. The concentration of these organic materials in the sludge will vary.
In the discussion of the sludge characteristics, the sludge can be described, for example, as containing metallic and organic materials which are dispersed throughout a solution containing water in a colloidal state, or as a colloidal suspension of relatively small particles.
