The **`cs5`** is the current release for Windows. Although the Mac version is also referred to as the **`cs5`**, you'll find that with a Mac, you'll need to download a separate version of the program called Photoshop Elements. This version of Photoshop has more streamlined features for beginners and is good for making editable, low-quality images for printing, web graphics, and such.

Q:

What is the best way to manage project code downloads

I have a scenario where I need to share source code for a project with other team members. I need to set up a hosting site for them to download the source code and then, just to save time, I would like to install it into their local repo so that they don't need to perform the manual step of getting the source code and extracting it. What is the best way to go about this?

A:

I usually take all the stuff related to a project in their own projects such as Grunt.js, Bower.js, Yeoman.js etc.

Each team member have their own project for the each part.
In Grunt.js every team member (around 10-20) can contribute very easily because of its ease of use.
Yeoman (Webapp generator) is an excellent tool for getting up and running to creating very simple, fast and scalable projects quickly. All you need to do is create project folder and then "yo" (Yeoman) It will do all the work. It takes a bit of setup and it takes time to configure Grunt.js for every new project but after that all the configuration part is handled automatically with grunt commands.

Q:

Immutability, modulability, reusability of a custom (rails) view

Quick question, I don't have a good solution to answer myself and thus thought I'd see what you guys thought.
My controllers use a custom named view called 'complete' so that they don't need to look all over the place to find the information they need. The view uses the rails helper methods (i.e. title,.etc.) to render its HTML content.
Now, I want to have a simple way to modify the content inside this view. For example, I want the url to be set to a new URL with some extra parameters in the path. In the rails view there is a method called "url_for". Is there some way to use that method inside the custom view that doesn't involve rewriting the view? (I only need to pass a few parameters but there are many parameters in the url for this view so I don't want to copy/paste that code into the 'complete' view).

Controller actions return the HTML for the specified view. As you've seen, Rails already has the helpers.
