Importing photos

In most photo editing programs, the importing process usually requires you to connect your photo camera or scanner to your computer via a USB cable and then to click or double-click on a file to import it.

If you need help with this process, you need to buy the software and head to the Help/Support area to see how to do it. In any case, you must physically attach your device to the computer, or the program can't access it. Photo editing software normally isn't used in this way, so for the most part, this is confusing to most people.

I just returned from a trip to Crete, where I hung out with some friends at Kastania Beach, just outside of the Heraklion suburb of Maleme. I stayed in Knossos, in the home of the ancient civilization known as Minoan.

I just returned from a brief trip to Istanbul, Turkey. I stayed at the Outfitters Hostel, a nice hostel in the Sultanahmet neighborhood of the city. I spent some time exploring and even ventured to the Blue Mosque, one of the more famous sites in the city. I am so thankful that I was able to take some time to explore the city, even if it was only for a brief amount of time.

One night while at the hostel I shared a room with a young Canadian that had grown up in Greece. We talked late into the night, and the subject of “acronyms” came up. We were laughing about how unique and the name of some of the Greek clothing store merchandise. “Palta,” I explained, was “The Seller.” Then he told me that his real name was also “Palta.” I asked him if his family name was originally “Paltos.” No, he said, that was his nickname.

I had previously tried to find a hostel in Greece that was “clean,” one that was “safe.” “Clean” in Greek and English meant that there were certain

In a statement on the CSU Facebook page, Elliott said students’ attendance was crucial to the institution’s economic survival.

The stay-away order, which directs all community members to refrain from exercising their right to free speech and assembly, was issued on Sept. 8 in response to controversy that erupted after the CSU Board of Trustees approved a policy to divest investments in corporations that support policies that discriminate against the LGBT community.

Santa Clara University President Santa Clara University has issued a stay-away order in response to a recent wave of student-led walkouts on numerous U.S. college campuses.

UC Berkeley temporarily closed down Sproul Hall and canceled classes on Thursday after approximately 1,500 undergraduate students “resolved to go on strike until the university rescinds its decisions” on the LGBT student recruitment policy, which trustees voted to approve last week.

On Monday, UC Irvine’s student government issued a declaration of “solidarity” with the LGBT movement and called on Chancellor Howard Gillman to rescind the board’s declaration supporting the LGBT student recruitment policy.

The response to the proposed policy had broad support from campus students. The UCSB Associated Students issued a statement Thursday expressing support for the CSU “with the unanimous decision to implement the policy that the CSU Board of Governors approved Sept. 7,” according to an article in the Los Angeles Times.

Many students had voiced their opposition to the board’s decision in a public meeting held in August before it was made official. The policy, which has not yet been put into place, would prohibit California State University, Monterey Bay and California State University, Channel Islands, from using funds to offer support services and recruitment events to lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender people, according to a Los Angeles Times story.

Elliott reportedly sent a letter to the campus community on Sept. 8, writing, “I am gravely concerned for the health and well-being of all our students as well as for the future of our institutions.”

“As I’ve said many times, I support the Civil Rights Act of 1964 and the subsequent expansion of nondiscrimination protections for lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender individuals. I continue to be proud of the values that are reflected within our institution’s Cal Dream community,” Elliott wrote.

He added, “My administration and I remain concerned about what the
