Origamizer 3.3.1 is a free software that can help you to create some origami 3D (paper models).
How to install : download the ZIP from here, unzip it and run Origamizer.exe
The unzip contains instructions in English, French, Italian, German, Spanish and Russian.
Orgamizer is a small and portable software that you can run directly from a USB thumb drive (Pen Drive for instance). You don't need to install it, just copy the Origamizer.exe, plug your USB and launch it.

MongoDB C# driver 3.6.4 slow query execution

I have been using C# driver 3.6.4 on MacOSX and Win10 with almost no problems until yesterday. Yesterday I updated my driver to 3.6.6 and I run into a really weird issue.
The issue only happens for queries like
db.dbo.TableName.find(
{
"_id": {$in : [ObjectId(), ObjectId(), ObjectId(), ObjectId()]}
}
, {
"randomField" : 1
}
);

The query takes about 500ms to execute. To explain it more clearly, the execution of this query will take at maximum 500ms, but when I turn it off and on again, for the next 500ms it will be stuck with a blocked state in MongoDB. It's like MongoDB is in some kind of lock which will prevent the execution of any query for 500ms.
The same query with a query engine status of oplog showing it connected to MongoDB works just fine. The query is blocked for this amount of time only when the driver is 3.6.6. Even the simple query executes just fine!
Then I tried to create a new connection to the database and run that query. It worked just fine without blocking. But for the same query that I was executing in the first one, I got the same 500ms execution time.
I would really appreciate any help here.

What a great concept. I’ve never used Origami papers. I was excited when I saw this app because I was able to get it in a lot for free, but it’s not perfect. I also didn’t expect there to be a download to the registry. This is the first I’ve heard of that. However, I guess it’s probably more common in this day and age than it used to be. Anyway, I was able to make the files work on my Mac. It did take a couple of hours to do, but I was able to get it going at last. I was not able to get the size of the file the way I wanted it to be. There’s only one problem. The size of the file was 4.5 MB. I got the file in a 7z file. This is definitely a download I’ll use. No additional downloads, and no registry, whatsoever.

The lack of support for dual monitor was somewhat disappointing, and the fact that it shows you only a single ‘original’ version of the model for your creases, is also not that nice.
